New American Driving School

The New American Driving School is a new program, initiated by Second Start, as part of its role with the Welcoming Concord Initiative. The goal of this program is to expand employment opportunities for refugees and immigrants, allowing them to become economically self-sufficient. Our driver’s education classes are primarily intended for New Americans and they will receive priority placement in classes. However, if there are openings for additional students, low and moderate income individuals may also apply to study with us.

The eight week course includes 32 hours of classroom instruction, 10 hours of behind the wheel experience and 6 hours of in car driving observation.
