For
English language learners, we have both day and evening classes.
Refugees, immigrants, and visitors from more than 35 countries
come together to read, write, listen and speak the English
language. To enroll, students must complete a registration
form and take a language test. The result will determine student
placement level.
Second Start partners with other community agencies and businesses
to bring educational opportunities to clients and employees
who can not attend our regular classes. Most recently, we
have been providing workplace English language lessons for
employees between the 1st and 2nd shifts. Businesses wanting
to provide education as an employee benefit should contact
Second Start for more details.
